Before working as an executive coach and program facilitator, Mr. Hsu developed over 20 years of leadership experience in a wide range of disciplines including corporate finance, marketing research, general management, business development and intellectual property management in global companies like Procter & Gamble, McKinsey & Co. and in companies he founded. Mr. Hsu consulted with clients like American Management Association and China Youth Publishers to build joint venture projects with international partners. He is active with non-profit enterprises including Focus On The Family serving in board functions and as volunteer.
Mr. Hsu has coached numerous CEOs, CFOs, Presidents, VPs and country heads. He has over 5,000 hours of client interaction covering business life stages from start-up, M&A integration, accelerated growth, mature, to turnaround operation.
Mr. Hsu currently serves previling multinational corporations as well as NGOs with his executive programs in Transition, Coaching Culture, Leading Change, Personal Energy Management, Engagement Development and Strategy. His clients include Fortune 500 MNCs and top institutions and business schools such as Duke Corporate Education (UK/USA), EM Lyon, Shanghai Advanced Institute of Financed. Mr. Hsu earned his BA in Political Science with the elite National Taiwan University, and MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management with dual majors in Marketing and Finance. He was the first Chinese to be honored with Advanced Coaching Certification as an Executive Coach from the Columbia University in the New York City. Mr. Hsu is certified with MBTI, Energy Management by Human Performance Institute, BU Level Assessment Center by PDI, Coaching For Engagement, 360 Feedback Facilitation by J&J, and Emotional Quotient. He works in English and Mandarin, and is conversant in Taiwanese.
